I will say that I'm extremely grateful for etsy.... so many amazing opportunities and customers have come to me as a result of my etsy shop. I will forever feel so much gratitude that i have established something there. I do hope my own website will one day feel generate for me what etsy has generated... i love the freedom of my website

I have 9000 followers (people who followed me because they are interested in my content) and as of recently my reach is only 100 , yes just one hundred people. Of the 100 people who actually see my content about 17 people like it. Back when more of my followers saw my content my engagment was about 10% and my posts almost always generated sales. Instagram is so discouraging and it actually makes me feel quite sad when i think of my hard earned audience but the lack of visibility. It doesnt feel worth it to even try to post at this point.

I make handmade items that get removed constantly . I'm now being threatened to suspend me for trying to sell my hand made leather wallets..

I would recommend not selling 1 of 1 items on Etsy. Your listing starts getting more sales once it sells 5-6 times. Obvs you cannot sell 30 of something that’s only made once

Hi Deborah, Thank you so much for your excellent explanation. When I create a pin on Pinterest, I write a title and description. When I give my Etsy product link as a link to my Pin, Pinterest replaces my Etsy product title and description with the pin title and description. What can I do to prevent this? If I directly link to my store, I will not be able to benefit from the 'Linked Page Title/Description/Text/Images' data you mentioned in the video. Thanks a bunch!

The easiest way to steal a design is to buy a "unit" then copy that . China , Taiwan , Korea all practice this . I'm here to learn how to get my design (s) back and ownership of the company.

Etsys fees are very high, and most of what's sold on the site since the past 5 years or so is factory made garbage sold as "handmade". Etsy does not remove such listings/shops and I can't compete with modern slaves working 14h days 7 days a week with a Chinese/Indian cost of living. I left Etsy. I don’t agree with this at all. We should always create and sell what one is passionate about and wants to sell. There is always a market for everything and everyone- one just has to figure out how to make it work and market/advertise to their target audience. People are smart and intuitive, they feel when things are not genuine. Never settle just to settle, always be you and create and sell YOUR passions. That is what makes you unique and sets you apart from others. Also, if you’re selling something that you may not want to be making and doesn’t go with your brand and who you are/what you’re trying to create and put out into the world, then by making something you don’t particularly care about (though is ‘popular’) can potentially make more money, though may not keep solid and loyal customers, it doesn’t flow. Fake and disingenuous do not last, it is not sustainable and people can feel it (whether one is conscious of it or not). If this were excellent advice, I feel there’d be more views to this channel and post. Never compromise your self and who and what you are. We need unique. We need YOU!

so do I just take multiple high score keywords and just combine them? or do I need to get one long high scoring keyword? because whenever I put the words individually or 2 words together, it gets a high score, but when I put it all together, it gives me a low score. would that be a problem or does combining keywords work?

This was sooooo encouraging! I'm at that state myself, just opened a shop, no sales, and it can be disheartening at times, seeing the growth is so painfully slow. It's good to know that slow is normal and consistency will bring about the desired effect over time... no quitting!

This entire video makes sense; the post of my dog staring at me out of the window got more engagement than posts of my products. It’s frustrating. But you gave me an idea, motivational, engaging posts with products in the background.

Hello, thank you for your videos, I have always wanted to sell my own products as a designer, artist and craftsman but I have noticed that Etsy is very inflexible when it comes to product images, for example: in the case of products produced under the P.O.D modality, it requires a real photograph of the product that to make it I would have to at least buy an exact model of the item and this implies spending more than I could earn in producing the images, I once wrote to them and asked about making montages respecting the real qualities of the product and they did not accept Now, years later, I see that they themselves sponsor pages where I should buy mockups but... will they have the exact models proposed by Printful or Hoplix? Another point is that I want to make my page outside of Wordpress but to create the appropriate plugin to connect with Etsy I must hire a programmer, I don't know if what you propose works outside of WP and can be coupled to WebsiteX5 Pro. I hope I have been clear in my approach . Thank you.
